WESTERN COLLEGIUM OF BIBLE SCHOOLS POLICY STATEMENT

Introduction

The Western Collegium of Bible Schools is presently headquarter

with Triune Biblical University at 1209 S. 3rd Ave.  In Kelso, Washington.  In Providing guidance and leadership to its member Schools, the Collegium makes available guidelines, policies and methods for the adoption by the member schools.  The Collegium is interdenominational in its scope and makes no effort to propagate or instill a specific Church doctrine.

Purpose

The Collegium was formed to provide a formal platform for the development of member Schools.  Specifically to aide in the following ways:

  1. To facilitate the transfer of student credits among other schools.
  2. To promote the development of high standards of curriculum studies.
  3. To assist in the professional development of the Schools faculty members.  By design and policy the Collegium is committed to being an association of Bible Schools, not avenue of bricks – and – mortar, and enjoys the innovative freedom to develop programs for its members School rather than be entangled by limitations inherent in the management of property.

Membership

Organized Bible Schools may apply for membership, whether the school

Offers diplomas, certificate of degree programs makes no difference.

Student Services

All students of a “Western Collegium Bible School” are, by virtue of being admitted to that school, received directly into the T. B. U. programs.  A student may apply, through his School, to attend a Quarter of Summer session at the University or at any Collegium School.  If that student is in good standing academically and has been faithful to pay his charges, the application may be approved.  A wider range of programs and opportunities of learning are thus made available to the students.  At the request of a collegium school, T.B.U. will evaluate a student’s college course completion record for the purpose of graduating that student has from the University.  In cases where this is desirable and the student has satisfied all requirement.
